Chick-Fil-A side salads are here to stay! 🥗

Last week, Chick-fil-A announced plans to remove its popular side salad from menus beginning in early April. It started on March 20th, when the Tifton, Georgia location shared the news on its Facebook page. The restaurant posted a picture of what appeared to be the back of a receipt with a farewell note to the Side Salad on it.

What the company may not have prepared for, was the negative response. The picture caught the attention of customers who quickly took to social media to share their opinions on the decision.

It turns out that Chick-Fil-A fans really enjoy having a healthier option on the menu. Chick-Fil-A received such a large response from patrons, that just 11 days after the announcement they decided to walk back on their decision!

In a message posted to their website, Chick-Fil-A assured patrons that “customers are at the forefront of every decision” the company makes. As a result of customer feedback, participating locations will continue to offer the Side Salad. Needless to say, customers are happy to hear the news that the Side Salad is here to stay!

The company is also bringing back its seasonal watermelon beverages.

If you’re headed to Chick-Fil-A for a Side Salad or other favorite this spring, you can pair your meal with a refreshing Watermelon Mint Lemonade, Watermelon Mint SunJoy, Watermelon Mint Iced Tea, or a Frozen Watermelon Mint Lemonade. Several of these fruity drinks come in standard or diet varieties.
