Every year, National Burrito Day is celebrated on the first Thursday of April to celebrate the delicious, beloved Mexican dish. This year it was April 6th only, and the next one will happen on April 4th, 2024.

If you enjoy eating at places like Chipotle, Del Taco, Moe’s, and Taco Bell, mark your calendars for this day as they will all likely have deals. Check in with your local Mexican restaurants, too, as they likely celebrate the big event, too! 🌯

Fans won free burritos for a year from Bubbakoo’s Burritos.

In honor of National Burrito Day and the restaurant’s 15th anniversary, Bubbakoo’s Burritos is giving 15 lucky winners free burritos for a year. Fans were able to enter by liking, commenting, and sharing the brand’s posts on social media.

Follow Chipotle on Twitter to win a free burrito next year!

Chipotle shared codes on Twitter that followers can text to 888-222 for a chance to win one of 10,000 free burritos. The restaurant also offered a $0 delivery fee on the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com.

Chronic Tacos offered burritos half off.

Burrito lovers were able to score 50% off one burrito when they ordered through the Chronic Tacos mobile app.

With a $10 purchase, Del Taco gave one free burrito.

Del Taco offered its rewards members (free to join) a FREE burrito with any $10 purchase!

Just sign up or log into your Del Yeah Rewards account where you’ll find the offer to save to your account. You can apply it online or in the app at checkout. If you head in-store, have them scan your rewards barcode at the register to redeem. Limit 1 offer per customer.

Dog Haus had buy one breakfast burrito, and get a second one free.

To celebrate National Burrito Day, Dog Haus offered BOGO Breakfast Burritos. The item of equal or lesser value was automatically discounted at checkout. Note that this offer was only available at select locations when you head to the restaurant to dine in or take out.

Participating locations include Four Points, Palmdale, Thousand Oaks, Bella Terra, Barboursville, SanTan Village, Colorado Springs, Tempe, Yuma, Long Beach, West Covina, Lincoln Park, Peoria, Fremont, Ballpark Commons, Bethesda, Kentlands, Silver Spring, North Hollywood, Old Pasadena, Palmdale, Peoria, and Richardson.

Rewards members got BOGO burritos at El Pollo Loco.

New and existing Loco Rewards members received a buy-one-get-one-FREE burrito offer. Guests who ordered via the app or online will also receive free delivery.

Then, between National Burrito Day and Cinco de Mayo, 30 Loco Rewards members will be chosen to receive one million rewards points! Winners will also have the chance to be featured on El Pollo Loco’s social media channels to share how they plan to spend their winnings.

Freebirds World Burrito offered $6 burritos.

Celebrate National Burrito Day with $6 burritos at Freebirds! This price was valid in-store, online, or via the Freebirds app through today only.

Moe’s Southwest Grill Rewards members got BOGO 50% off burritos and bowls.

For National Burrito Day, Moe’s Southwest Grill offered buy one, get one 50% off burritos or bowl entrées. This offer was available when ordering online, in-store, or through the Moe’s Rewards App at participating locations nationwide.

Pokeworks offered $3 off Poke Burritos. 

Previously, you could score $3 off any regular “Poke Your Way” Burrito when you using the promo code BURRITO3 at checkout when you order online or in the app.

Rubio’s Coastal Grill sold burritos at just $7.99!

On National Burrito Day 2023, you were able to order multiple burritos for just $7.99 each at Rubio’s with this coupon. If ordering online or via the app, you had to enter promo code BURRITO at checkout to claim the offer.

Taco Bell gave a free grilled cheese burrito with a $20 purchase.

Taco Bell gave a free Grilled Cheese burrito with a $20 minimum order in the Taco Bell App (limit one per user).

Delivery orders were also able to get a free burrito of any kind with a $20 minimum order on DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates, and Grubhub.
